Really wanted to love that sequoia and get one for myself. I just cant with that 3rd row / cargo space. What a shame. Yukon line is more appealing

The reason the center console was shallow in the AT4 is because it had the sliding center console option, which when you slide it reveals a hidden storage compartment perfect for your firearm or other valuables.

Need to do a follow up review in the suspension options and features of the AT4 which make it a way better off-road beast than the Sequoia. I owned two sequoias for a total of 15 years (1st and 2nd generations). Now I drive a 2023 AT4. Awesome truck.

I have Sequoia TRD PRO 2024, so far I love it. Fast and strong like BEAST

Toyota dropped the ball with the rear storage. I’m a die hard Toyota driver, but I’d have to go with the Yukon.

Just saw my first Sequoia on the road yesterday. Real nice!!

A twin turbo v6 non hybrid would've been a banger for the Sequoia, not that I hate hybrids but the battery ate precious cargo space.

They need to offer a AT4 Yukon with the diesel I would order one!

At4 for me. Better cargo space, rear lift gate, tow rating, and it should be on parr with the Toyota reliability wise especially this new sequoia.

The AT4. And I'd own one now if I could get it with the Duramax.

The wife’s ATF is on its way to be delivered to the house this week. We went with the 6.2 with GM performance exhaust. Should be pretty nice.

Good video. I'm somewhat surprised and a bit disappointed to state this (as I would like to buy the Texas manufactured Sequoia), but the Yukon takes it hands down in terms of capability, luxury and practical utility. That is not even considering that the Sequoia's powertrain is untested. Is a twin turbo 3.5 liter V6 that makes 583 lbs of torque going to last for 200k+ miles? And how long will the battery last?

Both are nice but today's prices are insane, especially when adding TT&L. AT4 for me if I were purchase.

Just canceled my deposit for a Platinum Sequoia. Plan to put my name on the new 2024 Grand Highlander.

If Toyota reads these comments - you are pushing your loyal clients towards other brands as I believe your supply chain issues are (now) on purpose. I have looked and considered the Audi Q7, Mercedes GLS, VW Atlas, and Mazda CX-90. Audi has low quality ratings with even the salesperson saying they are expensive to operate when they get above 100K miles. The '23 VW Atlas is slightly better and hopefully the '24 model will be better. The Mercedes was a beautiful vehicle with slightly too much automation for my liking (remote 2nd row only even to recline is annoying), it would have been too expensive ($10K above the Platinum Sequoia I was considering). Lastly, the Mazda CX-90 is just hitting dealers now (in April '23). It is a beautiful vehicle with a solid reputation. I think they are priced a bit too high which is actually why I pulled the trigger on a '23 Lexus GX as the Lexus is a luxury vehicle which I get a great deal off MSRP while the CX-90 is not a luxury vehicle. The cost for the Mazda trim I wanted was in the Lexus ballpark and i doubt the dealers will be discounting ... at least not initially.

I really want to love the sequoia, but i think they missed a lot with the redesign. Dated already.

If you could get the Sequoia never mind finding one of the Pro without a stupid Market Adjustment I would really like that...But due to rude dealerships and the mentioned Market Adjustment that AT4 is looking really really appealing.... Let's hope the reliability of the new Sequoia is at least on par with Toyota..and they really did miss the mark with the 3rd row. I'll be taking a really good look at the AT4 and that's coming from a Toyota loyalist.

I would definitely take the Sequoia. Has to be more reliable. My friend has a 21 Silverado 6.2L with 35000 miles. It's been back to the dealer multiple times. New transmission, active fuel management, faulty cruise control and computer glitches. He is looking for a Tundra TRD pro now.

Unfair comparison, you should compare the AT4 to its rival Capstone
