My Favorite Tropical Locations in Nintendo Games

It's the most wonderful time of the year... summer! Tropical locations are some of my favorite places to spend time in while playing games, so today I'm going over some of the best ones I've experienced. I hope you're in the mood for palm trees and steel drums. Thanks for watching!

Tropical locations in Nintendo games have some of my favorite atmospheres in gaming. I love the steel drums that play durring the music as well, it's always so relaxing

My favorite will always be Isle Delphino. Sunshine was my first 3D Mario game and one of my favorite childhood games. I remember spending hours not even collecting shines; I'd just walk around the plaza or any of the other levels. It made me feel like I was on vacation myself. The tropical setting never got repetitive for me, if anything I wanted to see more of it.

Yes!!! I've been hoping for someone to make a video about tropical locations! They're easily my favorite aesthetic and the best way to calm down after a stressful day. You definitely got to most of my favorite areas, but a couple of other ones I might add are the tropical levels from both Mario Galaxies, and the tropical level that unlocks in Miitopia after you beat the game. Great video!

What a delightful video! I adore water levels, and beach levels are just water levels with more exploration! I remember spending HOURS just swimming in Beach Bowl galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy when I was little! I've always loved to swim in real life and in games!

I remember the commercials for Pokemon Sun and Moon from when I was a kid. The tropical theme immediately appealed to me and I always wanted to play it. But I never actually got to play it. After almost seven years, I just recently started playing ultra sun and it's exactly how I remembered it. Simply gorgeous.
But my winner would probably be the marine resort from the Wii version of GoVacation. The music, the lighting, the sounds, the npcs, the atmosphere. Just perfect. The fact that the resort is so big only makes it better. You can swim in the sea, walk along the beach, but also explore ancient ruins or crystal caves in the mystic forest. I spent so much time there with my friend back then, it was a lot of fun. Although it is not a "Nintendo" game, it is still my favorite place.

8:42 Isle Delfino looks like a beta Wuhu Island (from Wii Sports Resort) - look at the position of that volcano, the lake in the middle, the town and port, the beach sticking out to the right, the small island to the south... Nintendo has been recycling!

I love the snow locations more. But I gotta say I love the island in acnl. So nostalgic. So peaceful any time of day. And so much to do. ❤️
