Enshrouded Early Access Review - Why I'm already hooked!

Enshrouded is a new Survival Action-RPG game that released into Early Access this week and its got me completely hooked. I'm excited to see how the game develops throughout Early Access.

I'm new to the game and I like it, but I am worried that there might not be much more new stuff added to it. I have been watching a lot of videos about the game on Youtube in the last few days and one thing I noticed is that with a few exceptions like this channel, almost all the videos and all the comments made under the videos are 2 months old.
It looks as if this game made a big splash when it came out, but everyone lost interest in it really fast and completely.
It seems to be a flash in the pan and I suspect that the developers will not want to put much more effort into it under those circumstances.

I am a bit spoiled in a way. I'm not really a gamer. The last 2 games I played intensively and a lot were Minecraft and Skyrim, both obviously extreme examples for games that created whole subcultures around them, going strong for over 10 years now and flooding Youtube with videos about every little detail about them.

Copped it 2nd day of early access release, still jump back on it almost daily and end up spending weird disappearing hours on it hah

I just don't like that you instantly die when the timer runs out. Should be DMG over time

Only 1/4 of the map is playable. I finished all the quests in game. Most of my 100 hours has been spent on crafting. I'm guessing this has 5 more years in Early Access.
