Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties - Why Do We Need to Classify Elements

Our universe is filled with various types of matter. Matter is made up of basic units we call them as elements.
At present, we know 114 elements, out of which some recently discovered element are man made elements .
Scientist’s decided to organise their knowledge in systematic way and thus they started classifying elements.
Classification was done in such a way that it would reflect chemical properties of elements and also predict new elements.
