@TheChipmunk2008 I LOVE the sound of lots of relays clicking over !

@pcuser80 Yep, Samsung's version of the Z80.

@TheChipmunk2008 I LOVE the sound of half a dozen relays turning on at the same time, so clicky and mechanical.

@Psychlist1972 Yeah, and it sucks if you are in a rush to catch your flight, then you have to ditch them!

That was a really pretty layout. Neat and the caps at the 3 phone line inputs really pleased me!

@Comptekhs where I work we have lots of those PBX punchdowns with amphenols. We're due to upgrade to VoIP in the next year or two, I can tell you I'm glad I'm not the guy doing the re-install, we have roughly 2, 000 internal lines, and I don't know how many trunks.

Unless you can scrounge up the proper station sets, which will undoubtedly be proprietary, what you have is a nice group of parts. There are outfits that sell them used, but they won't be cheap and unjustified for one guy in a small space. (Who would you transfer calls to?)
If you have only one line, it would be a lot simpler just to have maybe two ordinary phones across the line and see if you can sell the PBX box to somebody as a spare unit. (Here today, eBay tomorrow.)

@Comptekhs oh, we have fiber. But those panels are all over the building for getting digital phones and POTS lines to different places, think breakout. :)

Bare in mind VoIP is not a direct replacement as the reliability and quality is not so great.. I'd stick to the the old PSDN set up as it just works!

2 viedos in a row!? It make me feel I am getting more videos on less time... I like it!

Its a digital PBX everyone now is using VOIP over Ethernet PBX. I like the old school amphenol connectors.
Comptekhs
@MichaelJE2 I wonder why they would not just use a PRI T1, E1, J1 something like that then you would not have all of those physical telephone wire connections. I know my install just has four normal telephone lines but I have the other module just for this if I ever need to upscale my lines.
Comptekhs
@w2aew Nope, and nope! Their fault they left the door unlocked! :->

Def old school samsung. Four wire connections to each phone set. That pbx is most likely 6 CO lines and 16 Phone ports.

Not even moved in and raped a phone box...
I have a good feeling about this.
