Directed by Edwin S. Porter for the Edison Manufacturing Company, 1905's The Little Train Robbery is a spoof of his 1903 classic, this time focusing on children bandits. Although, from a modern perspective, it is possible to argue that since the leader of the bandits is rescued, that this is in actuality an origin story!

This public domain print was remastered using Adobe Premiere in February 2023. Due to the poor quality of the print, the decision to add a sepia tint was made in order to enhance the visual quality. In addition, stabilization has been added to the footage. Stay tuned after the feature to see before and after images of the restoration process.
