I'm about to move out and get my first cat, so thank you very much for all these videos!!

One main worry I have would be that the windows of the apartment might not be too strong. I don't worry about the suction cup perches falling, but I do worry about the entire glass falling out of the window. Are there any ways to really tell if the glass is fixed tightly to the windowpane? I would just put the perches on other furniture but I think they'd really like a window seat! What's a sign that a window is sturdy enough to not fall through from a cat pouncing against it etc? Thank you so much!

Edit: Additionally, I also worry that some cat trees might not be that heavy, and so a cat jumping onto it will cause it to wobble/fall. What's some quick fixes for these when I can't drill it to the floor/wall? Using weights to put on the base? I find that most trees/scratching posts are only a few pounds heavier than the cat itself. Is that enough for free-standing stuff?
