In the winter issue of Rotman Management, we present some of the key insights leaders need to incorporate into their mindsets going forward. Leadership today is permeated by paradoxes: leaders must generate short-term and long-term results; hold and share power; perform and transform; and optimize data and use their intuition—to name a few. The skillset required to achieve this has been summarized as ‘meta, macro and micro all at once’.
Rotman Management magazine is published in January, May and September by the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Rotman Management explores themes of interest to leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs. Each issue features thought-provoking insights and problem-solving tools from leading global researchers and management practitioners. The magazine reflects Rotman’s role as a catalyst for transformative thinking that creates value for business and society.
Content includes input from Rotman faculty; leading academics at top-tier schools such as Wharton, Stanford, and Harvard; and thought leaders across a range of fields, including Design Thinking, Psychology, Consulting, Behavioral Economics, and Neuroscience.
