It looked like a north London suburb until you turned the camera 😅

That sidewalk is WAY TOO NARROW! That’s so dangerous - one misstep and you’re in the street getting hit by a perfectly timed bus.

Those houses look like they were pulled straight out of London (the real one)! It's interesting how Canada is inspired both by the UK and the US in different ways.

How perfect was that timing, with the bus coming in the perfect moment!

The pavement seems too narrow. It looks very dangerous

Imagine the amount of noise you hear living here

Having to enter and leave the driveway during our horrible rush hour traffic must be fun

Those houses are not called duplexes in Toronto they are semi's as in semi detached. Duplexes are buildings that have 2 units one on top of the other.

Montreal looks sorta like that when I went there for winter break

I really miss a median on the street to cross it better as a pedestrian. And wider sidewalk. And street trees. And a bike path. And actually just one lane for the street depending on its use. But it’s nice that there are public transportation options and different types of housing.

Beats a similar Suburb from North Jersey New York City. Same is said for the Hwy 48 Markham Road Corridor where you have the 102 bus

I feel like this is proof that even in Toronto, the “missing middle” isn’t missing. There certainly are duplexes and town houses in Toronto, and the high density housing in this video looks like it’s mid-rise. But of course, there are still plenty of single-family detached houses near subway stations.

The mixture of 100 different styles of buildings feels so Brazil 😅

Well, surprise it's like this in most places all over the world ... Glad you describe a city

The street design leaves something to be desired though. Having cars pull out of their driveway and onto a busy 4-lane road is FAR from ideal.

It looked like a Baltimore in-city suburban neighborhood until you turned the camera to the dealer.

I’m picking up my printer from the staples there soon. You’re comparing about an area that’s been under construction for who know how long. I’m happy I see cars moving there

Love the steeles vibe, if you’re where I think you are, go a couple blocks east there’s a nice bar there
