Navigating the maze of deceit spun by a narcissist really shakes you to your core, doesn't it? Their mind games are designed to break you down, making everything, even seeking help, feel like a betrayal to your own sanity. It’s a level of emotional exhaustion that’s hard to put into words.

It's a demonic spirit stemming from unhealed traumas.

It’s the getting bullied at a young age, the “I’m never good enough” self talk for years and years. Then one day you realize your worth and you start using your trauma to fuel your drive. You become so confident, you just don’t need anyone but yourself.

Wrong mate 👎👎 this is misinformation. Not unstable relationships... A lot of narcs have loads of "friends " superficial friendships perhaps. The signs are lack of empathy, superficial charm, habitual lying, gas lighting, triangulation tactics, future faking, making up stories of fake success, emotional abusers, users or takers, self inflated ego, self absorbed. They are all there if you pay enough attention

People abused have symptoms of unstable connections as well if they keep meeting narcs also

thats more like Anti social personality disorder than narcissism .. most narcissists do very well at their jobs and either become part of management or sole provider for the family

A history of unstable relationships does not mean someone is a narcissist. There are around 5 established character traits of narcissists and this man didn't list any. Odd.

I agree 200% My husband is a narcissist His father died at the age of 13.He had to quit school and find work to provide for his family. My mother in law isn’t the type to hug her children or show them effection. She was very tough on him and his brothers and sisters. He is right about saying they had a tough childhood

There’s lots of Narcissists in the work Environment.
I think the Scapegoat has trouble w Work and friendships due to Narcissistic Abuse.

Narcissists I know were able to Keep a Stable job and go to work.
This is why No one Suspected them.
ESP, the covert type.
They check the boxes in Society and wear a mask .
But, behind closed doors…..

Most mental disorders cause unstable relationships, this is almost the definition of mental disorder. Here's some useful hints to detect a narcissist:

- Doesn't take accountability for anything and never apologises.
- Is obsessed with appearences.
- Can't comprehend the concept of an equal relationship. It's all about power for a narcissist.
- Is full of resentment
- Constantly bitches about others, neves praises anyone.
- Loves to virtue signal and believes he/she is an angel.
- Seems perfect and charming at first sight but deep down is extremely insecure.
- Will be extremely cruel at times and then either deny it or blame it on you.

You're welcome.

Seems rather vague. And not an easy thing to find out about someone unless you’re already in too deep. You didn’t mention any of the more common traits, or diagnostic criteria. I’d say lack of empathy, pathological lying, manipulative behaviour, sense of entitlement, victim mentality, disrespect of boundaries - all pretty reliable signs.

Narcs are often very popular types...watch any highschool tv shows? So the bullied and disenchised are more likely to be narcissistic? Do you hear yourself?

Wrong, he just described a psychopath, not a narcissist

The work and relationship history of the target of a narcissist will look the same...

This is wrong. MISINFORMATION.
Lots of non-narcissists are emotionally unregulated and have unstable relationships such as adults that were abused for years by a narc parent(s) and therefore have CPTSD. These poor people are targets for all the narcs around them.
