R2R is about schematics not about supply of parts. It is about not telling companies not to manufacture parts of your request it off them

In the long run, there should be a competitor that has chips with similar performance as the M series but they still won’t be tightly integrated with the rest of the hardware and the operator system. That’s their advantage over anyone that is making a general processor for android. Google Tensor will probably do well but in different ways

Apple’s repairs are expensive to the point that it makes more sense to buy a new product than repair a out of warranty device and Apple can charge such exorbitant prices because they have blocked third party repairs.
I don’t understand how spending $500 on repairing a $800 device can be called a “good experience”.
Also, if you buy two indentical iPhones and try to swap a single component then the phone doesn't work function properly. So Apple actively blocks swapping components made by Apple themselves.
Using software to make the phones less repairable says a lot about Apple's repairability.

Swapping cellphone battery is a stupid idea because the phone won’t be waterproof/resistant if that’s the case.
That’s why all the phone companies got rid of them.
Plus battery capacity is reduced or the weigh and/or dimensions will be compromised
