This is one secret of Red Dead Redemption 2 that I don’t see posted often enough. I see lazy channel post modded content and rip offs of mine and other greats like Ashwiny, but one thing I don’t see them do I actually post good content that explains secrets and Easter eggs like Strange Man, and I aspire to post content just like his. Even though I don’t have the production value and editing skills of him, I still like working on projects like these. And the only other place I’ve really seen post this Easter egg was GTA Series surprisingly and no one else really knows about it. So I thought what better way to showcase some of Arthur Morgan’s adventures than with a really video of one of rockstar’s most impressive secrets in the game. Even going to Roanoke during the day gives me the creeps. I feel like I’m being watched and I have to keep a gun out with a round in the chamber. You won’t see me going there in the dark.

What is really spooky to me is the "I need to get back home" line.
In the movie, it is lighthearted, in the movie's context, she is annoyed and frustrated at Hutton for scaring her and she wants to avoid her mom getting mad at her. But when you hear the ghosts say the line it sounds scared and desperate, plus the voice repeats it, sounding more afraid. Every other line sounds about the same tone as the movie, but "I need to get back home" tells me that something truly dark happened.

I'd say the spookiest region is the swamp with the ghost girl night folk etc but tall trees and Roanoke ridge are scary too I just realized Roanoke also has the coyote man who lives with coyotes there not to mention obviously the murfreed brood and the sad butchers creek

On that first playthrough, it was a week after release of the game, and I was no lifing it pretty hard (I specifically took 2 weeks pto i needed to use b4 it was gone, just for this game lmfao 😅). Anyway, 3 days of no sleep, 2 a.m, im running on nothing but caffeine, takeout food and anxiety...im exactly here in roanoke at night, I set my controller down to return a text to my fiance(thank god she still loves me) that im sorry i forgot to tell her good night earlier & that id make it up to her tomorrow. As Im txting that, I hear the faint whisper of "you should be ashamed of yourself". Chills down my spine. I shot up, looked around the room, checked the house and nothing. Stubbed my toe while avoiding stepping on my cat, and made a sound i hadnt recalled ever making before. Then I hearthe whispers "whats that sound?" "Its probably a calf lost from its mama. They tend to howl like that...ha ha ha". Did not occur to me that it could be from the game and not proof that i was being such a slob that even the house ghosts were judging me. Put the game down, slept and made it up to my wife. Didnt realize this easter egg til the 3rd playthrough lmfao 💀

I actually heard the first line near the bayou and it flickered on the map. I quickly ran towards it since I didn't know what it was and searched for a lady at the spot but couldn't find anything. I thought it just despawned. Didn't know it was ghosts.

I’m just….. I’m just amazed this game probably has so much more Easter eggs compared to any type of games I ever played in my life and to even make these connections it’s just WOW!!!

Hello, i found a secret in new austin. i noticed when you go to rio bravo after the fisher of fish mission is complete if you go back to the exact same spot where arthur and that guy where fishing you will notice like a fish shadow in the water really big like the cut catfish that was never introduced in the game i just see him 1 time and was mi first timr coming back to the place. I dont know if the hour affects something but i was like to the 1:00 to 5:30

I wonder what the real story to it is though... I guess it's possible that they were actually chased by undead soldiers but it seems more likely that the film is a fable based on the real events.
