When I've met 2 strangers inside the elevator in the luxury hotel, I said 'Good Evening.' to one of the strangers right before the elevator's door closing on his floor. He could not say the same thing 'Good Evening.' but just had frozen on his floor. He couldn't predict my polite attitude for him. The door of the elevator had closed. And, his friend and I were left behind in the elevator for moving on to the next floor. His friend was a gentleman. When we arrived his floor, he said 'Good Evening.' to me instead of his friend. However, I could not predict his response and just had frozen. But, this episode makes it easier to learn on ' the same thing greetings'.
