I love Ola. He's actually a hero of mine. I hope to meet him someday.

I was expecting some bashing, what a clickbait video! 😂 Everybody loves Ola, he’s cool and funny but very modest. Thanks for making this video on him. Cheers!

based on the number of dislikes I assumes some people didn't actually watch the video. Agree he is awesome.

Ma man "hating" on Ola for being humble :D.

Agreed my man, Ola's phrasing and note choices are just on fire and he really needs to be better respected for his leads. Nice dude too like yourself champion

Exactly why I ended up spending the money on a solar last year. Been following him for about 4 years now, and he's been a huge inspiration to myself and my playing. And seems like a very down to earth guy and deserves all the recognition for his playing and writing ability

Title: Ola Englund - What I hate about him.

Content: Ola Englund - He's awesome and I love him.

Bruh, you prolly coulda saved yourself a lot of dislikes by just saying that in the first place! 😅

I’ve been playing metal since 1996 (in high school when I started) I was falling away from playing and even listening to music for quite some time but finding Ola changed all of that. He inspired me to continue where I left off and I’m more into it than ever. He’s a sort of hero to me even though we are the same age and have similar back stories. I love that dude for all he’s given me. I can’t thank him enough.

Well said brother, I've been following Ola since 2012. Incredibly inspiring not only as a guitarist but as human being as well.

I gave up waiting for you to mention why you hate Ola after you waffled about nothing for 3 minutes.

Ola is somewhat modest .. he doesn't brag .. he lets his work do the talking

I was here to tear you a new one! But we’ll played. Good bait. Also, I have an 8100 and LOVE IT, can’t wait to hear what you do with it!

What a clickbait, you got my attention :D Altho I see the video is a year old now. Almost brought tears in my eyes, makes me so proud.

I totally agree with you!!!
This could just be a typical Swedish thing. Speaking as a swede, we have a strong cultural norm here in the North. It's called "The law of Jante" (jantelagen in swedish) never anything special. Never be cocky, never be boasting about your achievements or anything like that. Which goes hand in hand with a strong culture of silence.

Been a fan of Ola since he started uploading stuff, meet him a bunch around town at different gigs and things. He is awesome, his lead playing goes unnoticed by the vast majority.

But then again I'm a swede and therefore can't legally or morally talk about the culture of silence and or our ways of keeping our heads down, basically buried in the sand whenever someone compliments us.
