There's no such thing as low frequency mode. The only thing you're doing is turning off the safety on the DSP so it becomes unrestricted which can damage your speaker.

You have to do it on the volume down and the and pause button at the same time to turn bass mode on and off

Theres always lfm they just changed the combination cause lfm is a Manufacturer testing mode unless they changed it to only have that mode if connected to their software

My Extreme 3 has it low frequency mode that means the bass on/off switch not recommended in higher volume. Soon I will buy a boombox 3.

They probably took it off bc there is a sub so no need for low mode

Something happens if you hold Play and volume down but I’m not sure what. I do know it helped me with latency issue!

It doesn't need low frequency mode, because it has a dedicated subwoofer to hit the low frequencies
