Blaming the modders for anything is rich coming from developers that have a broken game from THE START. Modders are the only thing that keep the game playable on PC

Wait....The Simmers Are Blaming Modders Now?! Who literally have to rely on the Crappy Base Code?! They are getting Free Gamepack to Expansion levels of Gameplay for free! And Console Players can't. They Need to Slow it Down!

As for the Base code itself, They are Updating to Quickly before testing the Quality of the Update! Like They test the pack with Just Base Game but Not cross pack play which is where a lot of the problems are! And Base components like Moodlets and other signifigers are not Updated just tacked on! Which is why we might have an overload!

I think people think criticism is bullying…😖 This is why we can’t have nice stuff ma!!! Edit: I don’t know of any job position where you are absolve of any criticism. You do a good job you’ll be praised, but if you do a bad job they should let you know so you can do better. Why are game devs now think they are better than everyone and shouldn’t be held to the standards of the normal job?

The reason why issues keep arising is because people keep buying the packs. Stop supporting them and they will listen. It annoys me when people complain about issues with every pack. This honestly has been an issue for years where a pack ends up having so many bugs or breaking something.

I am finding this so funny....some of these people are so quick to cancel celebrities, Starbucks, influencers but are so slow at Boycotting EA or stop buying Sims 4 games.

This game is a lost cause, it keeps getting worse because there’s always gonna be those people that’ll find a way to justify the bs EA is serving us. I will NEVER understand how people can blindly defend a AAA company that cares about nothing but the bag, it’s honestly just depressing. The way things goes in the fandom is that something will be released, it’s broken, people with a good head on their shoulders will tell others not to buy it, the other players will either call you broke or say your a bully for criticizing the game’s quality and it’ll just keep repeating itself.

well the problem is the community in general. everyone is whining but in the end they BUY the packs, giving them more money. EA only cares about money at this point. if everyone would refuse to buy the packs, believe me ... they would be fast as lightning to change something within the game.

They need to hire someone that knows WTF they are doing and fix this broken ass game from start to finish or hire back the people they let go several years ago to fix this mess. Buck up and pay them. Too many cooks in the kitchen with this game, they bring in new people to do packs regardless if they know how this game works or not, it is unacceptable. There's no need to harrass SimGurus, just stop buying packs. NGL I kinda want Crystal Creations and I was gonna buy HS Years as well as Get Famose because they were on my wants list and it just has never been the right price at the right time. But due to how this game is being handled, no more of my money. Neither EA or Maxis deserves my small pocket of 'fun money' right now.

My sim can not do laundry she drop the clothes on the floor she can not clean her dishes she just drop it on the floor and stand there complaining she can not vacuum anymore all the typical base game things are glitching

it feels like the players are in this toxic relationship that they cant really see how toxic it is, everyone tells them to dip but nooo you dont know the sims like we do theyre actually really nice. no guys snap out of it the sims, ea, dont care about us

WE are the testers! I keep saying this(well not here, but in my head). They never even allow the "game changers" to play a new pack alongside all of the other packs. That's another thing that annoys me. Keep it coming with the news Yin!

You routinely make it a point to mention that the sim gurus aren’t speaking with the public about issues - again, this is FINE. It’s unusual to expect game developers to speak candidly about game issues, and this is why the guru program was not a good idea in the first place. This community expects game devs to speak to the community candidly, and it’s something that’s counter productive.

small QA team, the sheer number of packs in the game, and the short time in between releases = missed bugs. I thought it would happen when they fixed goth galore hood and a few other bugs just before announcing a new pack (that undoubtedly would bring new bugs), but this is even worse.

I am currently figthing with EA because my game does not launch at all. I have been dismissed by their representatives number of times including closing my case twice and accusing me that I simply don't know how to connect with the internet. I don't even care about this game anymore but their crap treatment just makes me want to bring a formal complain against EA which is what I am filling right now.

i wish people would just stop purchasing the packs until they fix the i keep seeing other YouTubers getting so excited for new packs, sometimes they mention the issues in passing but they'll still do lets plays and fully advertise the new pack that barely works.
