I need a part 2 on this, the story is just too compelling. Infographics is just S tier at storytelling I love it. The way this story abruptly ended was so interesting it makes you wanna see the ending fr, love this.

Now make videos on:-
1. Tsavo Man eating lions
2. Panar leopard
3. Leopard of Rudraprayag
4. Two-toed Tom
5. Mfuwe Man eating lion
6. Chiengi Charlie
7. Beast of Gevaudan
8. Ramree Island Massacre

It's not an order (who am I to order you), but just a request. Please create a series of man eating animals too as you have done on serial killers. There were numerous man eaters in the history but you did only 3 of

My god this would make a great horror movie. Because when I hear “demon bear” I think of the bear from “Annihilation”. I would watch this in the dark

And some years later, Japan will have to deal with a giant radioactive lizard rampaging through the shores and cities.

In Ainu culture, the bear god, Kim-un-kamuy, is a kamuy, or god, who is believed to take the form of a bear when he enters the human world. Kim-un-kamuy is also known as Metotush Kamuy and Nuparikor Kamuy, and literally translates to "god of the mountains". The Ainu people of Hokkaido have a great reverence for bears, especially the brown bear, and consider Kim-un-kamuy to be one of the mightiest beings in the spirit homeland of Kamuy Mosir.
The Ainu believe that after death, bears travel to Kamuy Mosir and give their meat and fur to the people. To honor this generosity, the Ainu perform a ceremony called iyomante to send the bear's spirit back to its mountain home safely. The ceremony also allows the other gods to enjoy the ritual sacrifice. Iyomante can include shooting the bear with ceremonial arrows, making offerings, dancing, pouring wine on the corpse, and reciting words to send off the bear god. The festival can last for three days and three nights.
The Ainu also sometimes eat bear meat as part of iyomante. Some say that the Ainu hunt bears to maintain a reciprocal relationship with the kamuy, and that the bear ceremony is a symbolic representation of this relationship
A bear is particularly one of the gods of mountains (kimun-kamui), but he is head of the gods (sabane-kamui), and also he is the most careful god, who is called Chira-Mante-Kamui. But usually kamui, a god, means a bear.

Thank you for the update, The Infographics Show..!! Amazing narration and animation as usual. The bear was 340 kg (750 lb), and 2.7 m (8.9 ft) tall..(?) That's a monster bear for sure. 🥶

Modern weapons deal with "deamons" rather effectively. There was a similar lion story in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The mayor tried to pay Heikichi but he angrily turned it down. I'm guessing he didn't want to be paid for what he perceived to be his failure to protect the people and three women years earlier.
