'There is no hope of survival' : Stranded Nigerian student pleads for help to leave Sudan

A Nigerian university student stranded in Sudan on Saturday made a desperate plea for help to be evacuated from the capital Khartoum, as operations to remove foreigners from the strife-torn capital began.

In video obtained by Reuters, the Nigerian student, who asked not to be identified, questioned why other foreign nationals were being rescued in evacuation operations while thousands of Nigerian students remained trapped amid the conflict.
