For the past 2500 years, philosophy has been a prominent field of thought. However, it is noted that true philosophical thinking did not begin until 66500 years ago, with the advent of the Neolithic revolution and the rise of agriculture and settlements. This allowed people the opportunity to contemplate and imagine the world around them. The idea of creation and evolution is explored, with a reference to the Indian tradition of Vishnu's avatars, starting with the fish avatar. This highlights the long history of human thought and contemplation on the origins of life and existence.
