Compact 4HP Electric Wood Chipper - Garden Shredder (FM4DDE)

Forest Master FM4DDE Compact 4HP Electric Wood Chipper.

The patent-pending (GB2008049.5) Wood Chipper is capable of chipping wood up to 50mm (2 inches) in diameter, powered by a 4HP electric motor which is powered from standard household mains.

The motor rotates the chipper drum at a maximum of 2800 RPM. This enables it to easily chip all kinds of freshly cut wood from hard to soft. The compact garden shredder is small and lightweight so can easily be stored away in a garden shed.

A quick question. Do the Conifer branches need to be dry? I've tried them freshly cut but the machine keeps getting blocked.

I have been thinking of getting one but I am unsure between the electric and the petrol version.

In the manual, it says you can only use a maximum of 10m extension cord. I would need my 50m extension cord would it still work?

Also, it's a 4HP electric motor against a 6HP petrol engine but the same 50mm diam max size. Does that make sense?

Is it available a model with an electric motor by 3 Kw? In Italy is the standar "size" of electric contract.
For 4 Kw you have to ask for a "specific" contract.
