Bangladesh TV news off air, communications widely disrupted

Bangladeshi news channel Channel 24 abruptly went off air on Thursday (July 18) as telecommunications were widely disrupted amid violent student protests against quotas for government jobs.

Authorities had cut some mobile services on Thursday to try to quell the unrest but the disruption spread across the country on Friday (July 19).

I'm from Pakistan,
its really hard for me to not find my Bengali friends online for a long time, many thoughts in my mind what have happened to my sweet friends 🥺, are they fine 😢 trully saying there are tears in my eyes, I'm trying to contact them but unfortunately I'm Totally failed then i came to know that tyrant Hasina shutdown their internet and broadband services, I'm trying my best to keep raising voice for my Bengali brothers and sisters on fb, Instagram and twitter, hope this all just end soon, humanity is already suffering everywhere how can I see my brothers in such situations. Keep it up brothers and sisters, you're not fighting for only your rights but you've become the inspiration to all the students around the world, best wishes from Pakistan!
