Hi Melissa! I went to a dermatologist and she gived me a list with some products I should use. Including effaclar duo + unifiant. They should help with scars and spots from acne. The problem is I don't know in what order to use them, because there are 3 creams. The products are:
Effaclar purifying foaming gel cleanser
Effaclar duo + unifiant
Skinoren cream (has acid azelaic)
Cicalfate cream (is thick)

Hey Melissa! How can I use and/or add Effaclar Duo in my skin care routine?

Morning
1. Cerave Foaming Cleanser
2. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA
3. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
4. Cerave Moisturising Lotion
5. NIVEA Protect & Moisture SPF 50+

Evening (w/o The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution pH ~3.6)
1. Cerave Foaming Cleanser
2. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + HA
3. Brilliant Skin Essentials Vitamin E with Snail Secretion Filtrate, Lavender and Sunflower Oils (cream/moisturiser)
4. The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalene (I wait 20 mins after I do 3rd step)

Evening (with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution pH ~3.6) - I only use Glycolic Acid 2-3 times a week
1. Cerave Foaming Cleanser
2. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA
3. Brilliant Skin Essentials Vitamin E with Snail Secretion Filtrate, Lavender and Sunflower Oils (cream/moisturiser)

Hi melissa, i have been using the effaclar duo for almost a year and seen great results, but i was wondering if i can use vitamin c serum along with it since I'm having some pigmentation?
And what do you recommend for tightening large pores.

Hi Melissa! I’ve been using effaclar duo + for about 2 months and it has definitely helped my acne. However, lately my skin is very dry and irritated (I don't know if it's the cold weather or the fact that I switched cleansers). I will definitely try to use the effaclar duo only in the evening for a while, but I wanted to ask you if you think I should also use a moisturizer in the evening (and in case, which one?) because I'm afraid it could make my skin more oily / make my acne worse.
Anyway I just wanted to thank you for the amazing job that you do on this channel, you are able to make such a complicated subject simple ❤

Hi Melissa! I just want to ask what's the difference between these:

1. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Soin Correcteur Anti-Imperfections Desincrustant
2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Spot Treatment Cream with Benzoyl Peroxide
3. La Roche Posay Duo (+) SPF 30
4. La Roche Posay Efficlar Duo(+) Unfiant

My big concern is I've been struggling so much with hormonal acne on my chin and lots of post acne marks/hyperpigmentation over a months.
Do you think which of those La roche posay products I should use?
Btw my skin type is combination, oily on my t zone area and I'm a teenager and I should avoid using harmful ingredients as well.

I've been using the Effaclar cleanser and moisturizer for a while now and I love it but I do have one concern. Both products have "perfume/fragrance" in the ingredient list and I know that you should avoid this ingredient when you have an acne sensitive skin. What do you think?

I have the same problem i just buy this product and i dont know in which step of my routine i can apply him . At morning : cleansing - vitamin C garnier- eye cream Cera Ve- Clinique moisture surge 100 h auto replenishing hydrator - Sunscreen 50 La Roche and then make up.
At Night iam only using cleansing and than just Cicaplast
Can you please help me where in my routine can i have Effaclar duo ? Should i be using him at night also ?

Hi Melissa!! I've been wanting to buy this one, and I've been wondering if it's okay to use with while I'm applying Ascorbic Acid + Alpha Arbutin from the Ordinary? I'm also alternating with a Retinoid (from the Ordinary as well), applying it at night. I understand that the Effaclar Duo has Niacinamides and the Ascorbic Acid + Alpha Arbutin conflicts with niacinamides so should I apply it only at night? Thank you. 😄
