LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga - Unused and Unplayable Characters Compilation

After some weeks working on this video I have finally finished it. 1 hour and 20 minutes of unused and unplayable characters of LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga (I didn't realise there were gonna be that many 😂). While the death star, porg and rancor costumes scream custom characters I find it believable for them to be from some unused extra which maybe dressed up enemies.

Me and my brother were playing this game while tired one time and the chef protocol droid sequence had us laughing uncontrollably for no reason so seeing the droid fully playable outside of that minigame made me smile lol. Awesome video!

It's a real shame that most of these din't make the cut into the final game, it would have been cool to see these characters in a DLC or free update. The 3PO captive looks like he has a restraining bolt on him so I'm assuming he's from the Jawa scene. I am assuming the costumed versions are from scrapped quests that were character customizer based, in Lego Batman 3 and some other lego games there were quests where you had to create a specific character in the customizer. Those characters usually had to have a goofy costume, I believe that these were scrapped because of the character customizer not being finished.

The colored Gonks and the Judge are from a Gonk contest Sidequest in Pasaana, I'm guessing the one identical to the regular one was made as a separate character in order for the quest to work.
The weaponized Mouse Droid is from a Sidequest in Death Star Ruins where you collect scrap for a battle robot competition which uses Mouse Droids you control with a Protocol Droid Panel, your droid was called Emperor Painpatine by the announcer, hence its name, according to him, it's in reference to it being created from the Death Star II

The lack of custom characters in this game is heartbreaking (but i also understand it things were broken and they probably didn't have enough time to devote to fixing it) I had hoped it'd come in an update but sadly that hasnt happened i doubt we'll ever get another update but if we do i hope most of the update is geared towards bringing us character customization

The fact this lego game has dlc characters but no gameplay is insane at least in batman the dlcs added some levels even though lego game dlc is just insane

I know the game was alraedy delayed a few times but oh my god, this game needed to be delayed like 6 months. It'd would've made the game perfect. A lot of these characters probably would've been playable, Kijimi, Starkiller Base, the Raddus and the Supremacy would've been explorable and maybe even custom characters would be finished. I still think the game is pretty good but it's tragic seeing what it could've been with some more time
