Thinking of buying an AMS heat exchanger. Nice howto video. The one thing I plan to use is a coolant system refill kit (~$60 on Amazon) which creates a vacuum and then it sucks in the coolant. Easier then trying to bleed the system with the car running.

Good job man. I got the AMS HX, expansion tank and auxiliary IC tank as well. It leaked on mine for a couple days and made a mess so I bought some Z1 caps. It's filled about halfway when cold. Should I fill the HX reservoir to the top and leave the radiator side at half?

Great content! I've noticed that the ams heat exchanger aren't visible when you glance at the front of the car. I am too looking to buy parts for my q60, but I want that aggressive HE look when you look at the front end of the car. I've seen some people on ig using frozen boost HE to have that aggressive look. Do you know if the BMS HE gives that aggressive look and is visible?

I have 20k miles on mine and I'm thinking about reusing my coolant especially since I'm getting the fender tank. I don't think I'm doing the expansion tank. it's scary not being able to see my coolant levels.
