Today I have some fun I have been loving watching mystery art box and scrawlrbox unboxings and try outs by Kasey Golden and Drawing wiff waffles lately and I really wanted to subscribe and try them out myself ehehe

I think its such a fun way to enhance your illustration style, and challenge yourself, I was totally out of my comfort zone in this one and really didn't like the final results, but hey! I had fun!

OH I'm so happy for this video :D I didn't understand why I got 800 subs in a week end but it's probably thanks to you. It was so nice to be featured ^^ You were supposed to receive one print but good for you to have a little bonus ^^ ! It's definitely a hard challenge, making coloring books is a lot of work for me, it takes me a whole month to create 20 designs.

I think it's courageous & interesting to see you draw out of your comfort zone & with new supplies. I'm at a place where I'm always out of my comfort zone because I haven't found my style or supplies I like best. Working to make more time for play & trying new things (while trying to work full time with a chronic illness). You have inspired me to try to draw digitally. It feels odd but fun, & I love to learn & challenge myself. Thanks for sharing. I can only imagine that youtubers faces being vulnerable & really putting themselves out there sometimes more than others. Loving binge watching your videos & recently bought your stickers for the first time. You're also helping me to enjoy pastels again.

The burnisher pencil makes your colours more shiny when you colour over it, the blender works awesome it really helps with the marks that pencils can sometimes leave behind. Love Derwent and own them myself!

Hey Catherine! It's so hard producing with new products and I'm with you with making and not thinking it's good enough but your illustration was still so frickin' cute! The burnisher makes the pencils more shiny. The blender blends two colors together.
I love your enchantress. The point of the box is to get you out of your comfort zone.

I think it’s good! I am sure it is very difficult to do a video for a challenge. Here’s my (unsolicited) take (from a trained but not practicing therapist, for whatever that’s worth): sit with the vulnerability and try not to put down your work. It is all for fun, and this community of followers loves you and your work. It’s ok to make things that aren’t masterpieces (in your opinion, because we are our own worst critics!), and welcome the growth that comes from the process. Thanks for posting and do more!! Your going to love the white pencils and burnisher. It blends your pencil colors. And highlights color pencils, blends the colors together, and the burnisher makes the pencils shiny, rather than the color pencil texture. You'll love it! And the white one can make the chalky like texture of color pencil, just become smooth and you can layer them. You'll love it!

I enjoyed this video a lot ! You are really brave to try this challenge and post it even if you are not so happy about the result, I definitely love the way you do it. I would be interested to see more of this type of content, always interested to see artists challenging themselves :)
