"I Drink Alone" and "Who Do You Love" by George Thorogood (& the Destroyers!) also highly, highly recommended.

One Bourbon, One Scotch And One Beer should be next, but listen to the album version for the first time. The live is good, but to really get the true greatness, studio is best.

This is not even the best version, this one lacks a LOT of the original nuance and extra riffs! Find the official version to get the full effect! Either way you are right... this song was so iconic and has been featured in whole or in part ALL over the place... Classic bluesy rock! George Thorogood is an excellent and underappreciated blues artist! Oh yeah, the band is called "The Destroyers" and that line-up can be a bit flexible. Either way, they all work together behind George Thorogood to produce some amazing music!

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer is a great song. He's basically telling a story which I know you like songs with messages.

"House Rent Blues/One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" live medley is a masterpiece.

Live, George is mind, soul, soothing Rock & Roll. In the 1980s, George danced the jitterbug, foot stomping, and gliding all over the stage. Seen him the most of any band ever.

Love this song! I think almost everyone has heard at least the chorus at one time or another. This song has been played in a LOT of movies. Lethal Weapon, Bull Durham, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Color of Money, and Christine just to name a few. If you've seen Major Payne, it was used as the intro to the movie and played during the whole of the opening credits.

As for commercials, I remember both a Ford pickup and a Chevy commercial using Bad to the Bone in them. I'm sure there were more. There was also a South Park episode called Bad to the Bone and it was used in an episode of Married with Children.

Yes, it was a huge hit and played on the radio endlessly. You should really watch live performances of the from when he was young and even hotter. His band is just out-ta-sight.

George Thorogood is the best. The sax when he bends the note is amazing. I’ve seen them many times in concert, I never tire of this band.
Christine is a movie with this soundtrack

Notice how *TIGHT* the timing is on the whole band! No one is off by even a fraction of a note. Everyone is SPOT ON! That allows George to play with the lyrics and mix things up.

I saw George twice in the 80's....both times put on a great show!!

"Head nurse spoke up said, leave this one alone! She could tell right away that I was Bad to the Bone! " this man literally put out a challenge for the rest of time to all men proclaiming himself the baddest of all time and nobody called him out let that sink in

I saw George Thorogood and the Destroyers play in an auditorium on the Florida State University campus. There's a fountain in front of the auditorium. They played so incredibly loud that I was unable to hear the water cascading in that fountain (and traffic noise) after that performance. I should add, however, that it was the ONLY concert I've EVER attended where I literally could NOT sit down. The energy was so raw that I HAD to dance to EVERY song! Outstanding experience.
