Trust me this is a game changer if you are using the camera in a vlog style way or any situation that you will be experiencing changes in light frequency. In fact if you set your range from 50 to 800, ND64 is all you need from dawn to dust.

I literally just figured this out over the last week. Im glad you cover the osmo 3 because its an awesome little camera and with just a few tweeks like this and others you've shown, the footage you can get out of it is incredible. I'm just editing my footage and can already see a massive improvement, as im also pretty new to ND filters and this change in light was something that was bothering me (i use the startrc nd filters as the gimbal can still close when attached) Thanks for the videos. Philip Bloom suggested in his review a variable ND that also has 1/4 Blackmist diffusion (K&F I think). That only goes to ND32, but is a good solution without the need for multiple NDs.

That said, your suggestion also works quite nicely!
