I would watch the longer let's plays, but whatever suits the time constraints of the main channel...

I am starting a gaming channel this summer (not on this username so its still in process...) but it would be AMAZING to record some theory vids (since I can't go to England D':) together in the future...

You could do something kinda like Jim Sterling's squirty plays, where you try various games in 20-40 minute sessions, and those you don't like playing so much, you only do the one video, but the ones you REALLY like, and your viewers like too, you continue on with in a LLP.

I would like to see a longer lets play. But at the same time I do like the indie games. Maybe if you uploaded the longer one every other day, and then indie games in between, you could kill two birds with one stone

My suggestion is to balance the Let's Plays with the Indie games. Focus on one or two Let's play videos per week as long-term projects and fit plenty of Indie Games in the middle to make regular, daily content.
