I saw Al Murray on his last tour as the Pub Landlord. he was funny - but he did none of the obvious jokes that a pub landlord would make. He did slip in one line under the radar, which I thought was the sort of thing that the woke would cry out over. But it was very tame.
Don't blame him as he has to earn a crust - but it shows how censorship is now everywhere. There is no such thing as free speech now.
When I was young the whole idea of comedy was to cause offense - now Ben Elton bends to the woke. Started to watch him on a come back to stand up - as soon as he started his intro with pronouns, that was time to get on and do something worthwhile and not waste my time.
