Whatever tech apple come with, it will not going anywhere. Because of the ecosystem. It will only served well to some people mostly who use apple for video/image editing. This is what apple good at. But for more heavy task like 3D rendering/animation ( Unreal Engine, etc.. )..or triple AAA games with MAX setting.. No way

I'm an Apple fan. I have an M1 iMac, iPhone and iPad. But this tech already exists in various AIs. I am glad it is coming to my devices. Maybe not all of them as some are older. Now I wait and see which devices will be able to do what.
