This was truly inspiring, words can’t even begin to describe how incredible this was. I started sobbing so much 0:05 it made such an emotional impact. Gregory made the best apology I’ve ever heard and I can truly tell he was horribly sorry for what he did. Cassie was truly wrong for not forgiving him as seen at 0:07, how dare she. I used to think Gregory was horrible for dropping Cassie from that elevator, but this shows that it was a accident. Don’t even get me started on how incredible the song he made for her was at 0:03, I can’t believe she didn’t forgive him for that part alone. Cassie was obviously in the wrong here. She even had the audacity to call him a terrible friend while he was apologizing. I will never forgive Cassie for this. 0:06 was probably the best part of this whole video this part of the song was just incredible and Cassie was 100% in the wrong. And at 0:07 Gregory switched from his own song to Toxic Gossip Train by Colleen Balinger, which is the #1 hit of the year. Even then Cassie didn’t forgive him, I can’t believe her. She was the horrible “friend” in this situation although I used to think it was Gregory. This video has changed my life, I can’t thank you enough! This video is very informative and has changed my view of the situation. You can truly tell Gregory was sorry by him smiling at the end while he was playing Toxic Gossip Train. Gregory also learned the ukulele in order to properly play the song. We can all hope that Cassie rethinks her decision soon. Gregory was only trying to help her in the end of Ruin by lowering the elevator that she was stuck in but accidentally dropped it. The “keeping everyone safe” part was implying that he was reactivating the security protocols to keep the mimic away. And when he said “I’m sorry” he had realized what he had done and made one last effort to apologize hoping Cassie would forgive him. You tell tell he was just trying to help because he led her towards the elevator, if he was trying to k!ll her wouldn’t he have given her false directions while she was escaping from the mimic? If you are wondering why he tried to made the elevator go down instead of up, he knew there was a undamaged one lower down, so he was trying to get her there. I hope this has changed your mind on Gregory like it did for me, Gregory doesn’t deserve any of the hate he is getting, he is a good friend who made a mistake. You can tell that Steelwool Studios intended for the ending to be perceived like this and Gregory was completely innocent. Gregory was trying to save Cassie from the mimic, as he said in near the end of the game “I’ve been trying to reach you all night” this shows that Gregory was deeply concerned for his friend. Gregory did nothing wrong and was just looking out for his “friend” and got so much hate for it.

This is the most beautiful apology I've ever seen. The sincerity in Gregory's tone is clear, and he delivers the message well. We can see that Gregory does indeed regret betraying Cassie, and that it was all an accident. With the way he strums the strings he can hear that he is making the necessary steps to being a better person in the near future, and this does not define him as a person. In the end of the video, when he opens his eyes, we can see that he is just looking out for his friend and is willing to be better. Anyways, in short, This was a brief yet telling apology.
