How I Use and Store my Scraps!

Happy New Year my crafting friends!

As promised, here is my system for using and storing my scraps of paper, fabric, trim and lace, as well as my little "share" of what I do to work these scraps away and make them into something useful and pretty for my journals.

Great organizing ideas, Angela! I am an organizing freak! I can't seem to work without a place for everything, and everything in it's place...lol
I have what I call "My squares"...they are tiny little clear containers. They are on top of each other, in short stacks against the wall on my desk. They each have a numbered label on the outside. They hold all of my tiny things. Everything from charms to jingle bells to mini clothespins, and so on.
The number matches up with an alpha index so I know where to find something.
I love your tiny paper scrap idea! As I don't throw anything away either!
And I LOVE your long containers with lids!

Girl after my own heart Angela, I work better when things are orderly it’s the neat freak in me so my papers are also colour coordinated. When I am working on a new project, before starting I find lots of things that match, put them all in a wallet ready for the preparation stages of my new piece - it works for me - another enjoyable video xx

I loved your storage ideas, and i am one of those crafters that cannot bear to throw away my scraps, so i do keep all mine, but you have shown me different ways to keep and store all those wee scraps, which are in big boxes, and can be a nightmare to look through sometimes. Thank you for the insight of how you store and use your scraps. I also agree with you when you say if you put things away you probably will not use it. But, on the other hand I like to put it away. I have been having a massive cull of stash that has overtaken my craft room. Hopefully by reducing the amount Of stuff I will be able to create more- as they say more is less!
