Russia’s Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft had a coolant leak the other night, causing mission control to cancel an upcoming spacewalk for two cosmonauts. The leak lasted a few hours and did not pose a threat to any of the crew at the ISS.

Thumps up for not holding a tiny microphone!

Easy fix. Pop outside, crack an egg in the radiator to stop the leak and use pee to top off the coolant.

Not what I thought liquid would look like in low gravity.. I would've expected a very fine mist

So if a micrometeorite can do that damage to what I assume is a docked Soyuz on the iss. How often do micrometeorites hit the iss and if it hit somewhere else on the station would it depressurize the station?

Just curious about the effects of coolant in space? Does it potentially change the chemical arrangement of it? 🤔

Yes they repaired the hole, amazed micro-meteors don't hit it more, well built Soyuz as 1700 launches, best ever.
