We SLAMMED the Cressida! (4K)

Показать описание
It's finally time to dive headfirst into transforming our Team Cressida into a proper kaido racer and for us to put the new shop to work! In this video, we're thrilled to share with you the first steps of our project. Thanks to another sponsored promotion from Maxpeedingrods, we're installing their low-cost T6 front coilovers for an S13 by using Rudeboy Custom Prosus which allows us to run Nissan S13/S14 front coilovers in a variety of retro Toyota platforms.
Our primary goal is to ensure our Cressida gets "on brand". To achieve this at the most basic level, we started by equipping it with a set of SSR MK3. We figured some authentic small wheels with a bit of patina would be a great look before we eventually send them off to get rebuilt to a much wilder spec. And to match the wheels we've dropped the car as low as we could for now – giving it the unmistakable kaido racer ride height that we love.
This spec will largely define how the car looks at New Year Touring this coming January, but we have a few more upgrades to do before then and we can't wait to show you the final result. Join us on this journey as we transform our Team Cressida into a true kaido racer masterpiece. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell so you won't miss a moment of this epic project!
We would not recommend these coilovers to somebody who is building a performance-orientated car, but for a Kaido Racer where the main objective is to be as low to the ground as possible, the combination of the Maxpeedingrods and the Rudeboy Prosus seems close to perfection.
We've got you covered if you want a setup like this for your low-style Toyota:
