To be honest even I might have underrated Nilou in this abyss. I have since been able to clear the weenut just fine using raiden national on the first side 50 second clear and C0 Nilou, Yelan (technically c1 but I didn’t use it) nahida and Barbara. Not a TON of time to spare but really not so bad. Go Nilou!

The good thing about putting Barbara C6 in Nilou team is that if you did an oopsie and someone dies (let's hope it's not Barbara), she can auto-revive them once every 15 min to full health.

People need to stop thinking narrowly about Nilou. Her nicheness is GOOD. If her superbloom worked with everyone, she would be the most overpowered character in the game. It's all about balance guys.

My day 1 OG Nilou team still swept this abyss. So even cheapest Nilou ALWAYS has been strong and always will be.

The new 20% set will def help her reach the HP cap. My nilou with r1 key has 69K+ HP and with hydro reso it goes to 73K+ HP. Barely reaching the 74K hp cap.

I usually play her team (as a f2p) with Nahida, a full EM Barbara and the Dendro MC, I find him more consistent than Collei on Dendro application, but yes, she's strong AND fun to play !

this is the perfect patch to get nilou, baizhu will be amazing in terms of compatibility. thn we hv nahida so her teammate options are increasing as days going by. i will definitely get her on her next rerun.

Love, love, love your channel. Nilou is a misunderstood unit. I think she's great, she works amazingly for F2P players like me because of the HP scaling. I adore her playstyle, cute, easy and fast

I pulled nilou in her debut banner just for her aesthetics. I thought she might underperform cuz of her team restrictions ( I have kokomi so I didn't care about the healer part). And yes, she literally carried me the whole abyss. It's so satisfying to see enemies go kaboom without aggressive clicking and extreme rotations. She's fun to play.

As an Ayaka main, I've never really understood people's "complaints" with Nilou's nicheness… when Ayaka released, everyone just called her a "great freeze carry yup 😄👍" (mind you, Kokomi was yet to release back then) and moved on… but suddenly, when we get a bloom reaction carry, it's "RESTRICTIVE 🤬"

I play Ayaka's premium team now, but I've played her with Mona + Sucrose + no Shenhe for a very long time, and I can GUARANTEE that NO fp2 Nilou teams are as uncomfortable to play as that haha

Ok im very late to this video but as someone who pulled Nilou in day 1 she has been an incredible boon to my account. The day I got her was the day I first 36 star abyss and I have been fully clearing it ever since. You made an incredible point that she is very busted even with low contested units like Barbara, Dendro MC, Collei etc (Nahida is the only one if you also want to run Dendro on the other side like hyperbloom but if the abyss allows double dendro its free anyways) . For example I can run a variety of Ayaka Freeze, National variants, double hydro, taser etc on the other side using busted stuff like Yelan, Bennet, Ayaka, Kokomi, Xiangling etc without having to split them and you can actually really narrow down on the abyss specifc mechanics

this is what ive been talking about before but players just blatantly ignore it like we're not getting more dendro characters in the future. Nilou players can literally just slap in one dendro in the team and your going to have a decent AoE comp, thats something more effective rather than forcing awkward team comps just because you dont have that certain character.

Nilou is so fun to me because she has team options that doesn't require you to use bursts at all 😂

I have C2 Nilou bloom team I run with Nahida, Kokomi, and Dendro traveler. MY GOD! her bountiful cores kill enemies so fast that I breeze by abyss really quick!

Nilou’s team restriction is a balancing feature. Without that Nilou will power creep most of the hydro units we have in the game. Nilou as we designed right now can do the following:
- modify bloom reaction that scales with her hp,
- provide hydro off field application that follows your active character around,
- provides party wide em buff based on her hp (further increased by her BIS by significant amount)
- has great scaling on her burst dmg,
- can crit.

If you remove the party restriction from her and still allow her to do everything she does w/ it, she will power creep almost every hydro unit in the game. As it stands right now, hydro is the best element in the game bc their characters provide the most utility from all the other elements. And if you have a character that can do everything, whats the point of pulling for characters in the future? And if you think about it, to make bloom a viable mechanics in the META, you really have to go all out and make it good. And Nilou does exactly that.
