Thank you guys so much for the positive feedback on the cover! I just wanted to add my own two cents in on this whole pop/rock debate.

Paramore has ALWAYS had indie and pop influences. They are just channeling more of that now! I think that as long as they are passionate about what they're doing, growing and changing is a beautiful thing. Our channel has it's place in rockifying songs, but we write and appreciate all genres of music. If you don't like that genre, just look around YouTube for awhile! There are literally hundreds of us female fronted rock bands to choose from. And Riot will always be there :)

BUT the comments on this video are so out of place!! If and artist / band spends months & years creating a new album, a new sound, what makes you think you can properly critique it w/ one listen? My favorite album from Paramore is Riot, so it's easy to know how I felt when I listened to this new song. I just found your version and HOLY CRAP! Absolutely insane! Gave me so much of Riot's vibe. Thanks for making this! Insanely good.

I have a theory as to why this was so quick to put together. Because the new Paramore song is so much more catchy than I had given it credit for. I love the original. I also love this version and you guys did a great job. I'm sad that many people are trashing the original but ... it's one thing to rockify a song but the original just has such a unique twist and nuance to it. I'm surprised people are so easily taken in by adding more guitar and layers...even though I know there's more work involved. But that's essentially what the sound came out to be.

YES again what a great cover! It's very hard not to see a massively great similarity between you and paramore and thats how both bands really let their personality shine through in their music. I personally love the sound and the vocal in this is ace as always. FANTASTIC. I was extremely happy when Paramore dropped their news yesterday but Halocene dropping their video a day early? just as Hyped! We are Halocene <3
