In this video I'm test driving the updated Formula USA cars in Automobilista in a 8 lap race at Road America.

The cars are phenomenal, and after the race my heart was still pounding. This was a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience. I can't recommend this enough.

I remember going up to RA to see those cars racing around there in the late 90's So cool to actually be able to drive them. I agree 100% that this is must buy.

I had a similar experience last night ago, but online rather than AI. Lap after lap of battling in a glorious early evening in winter. AMS2 in VR, especially, is totally immersive. When the sun hits my back I could swear I can feel it! And my AI races are now all against my friends (or at least their names), via the custom AI feature. What a sim!

The winter art pass on Road America is also amazing, very late november/early march feelings. I just ran a P4 race on it in mid afternoon

Beautiful is the only reaction I have to this. This is the first thing I did when I fired up AMS 2 after the update. A real thrill, so much fun!

Agree. Phenomenal cars. All of these 90s indy cars. As a die hard AC fan, must say this is really something special. I also like how all the different sims are improving and finding their place in the Sim world: gt3 and gt4 - acc, endurance - rf2, 70s-90s openwheelers, brasilian cars - AMS2, touring cars, dtm- RaceRoom, modern openwheelers (2000 onwards), road cars, vintage tintops - AC. Everybody happy, except my wallet. 😂😂

I'm glad to see the Madness Engine being used to it's fullest potential. I read somewhere that they will be working dirt courses into AMS 2 next. I will look forward to that, but I would still like to see more classic cars and race classes from the 60s and 70s make it in. Say maybe Trans-Am or Can-Am. That would be cool! Road America has never looked better. I wonder if that kart track on the side will ever be playable. Imagine doing some kart racing as a real race takes place on the main track.

AMS2 getting better and better. Wish tyre pressures were in psi (when in metric) and I would like to be able to put pedal input widget on main hud. But the car handling is lightyears better then they were at release. Reiza doing a great job with the continues updates! Nice vid, Mike!

Love the content Mike. I can't stop playing this! Plus it's buttery smooth on my Reverb G2. The 911 GT1 98 is my current addiction, but the open wheelers are amazing!!

AMS2 Really thought "What is something great that not many modern sims have anymore" and went full send with these cars. I get paid next week and I know what I will be purchasing. Great video

As much as I like AMS2, I still believe LilSki's version in AC with CSP+Sol actually looks better. Cartoony-green grass and (rotating 2d) trees AMS2, while look OK, don't look as good as the best AC tracks, IMO, especially in VR, where one can see all the details (or lack of them). However, overall experience - ams2 is just such a nice package. Updated Physics, AI, Indycar, UI - well done Reiza!
