Great analysis mon cher Guylain! I would just add that thies song reminds me that our paralysis and our fears overlap many of the things we cann achieve in our own lives. Chains just like in Rivers and I see the great symbol of the Phoenix rising from it sands. Its always a new beginning. The energy shall rise in us towards the sun. Depressive states in age and our cave that can push us down. Forces inside of us in a struggle to find more closure. Take that step! Knowledge and will are important but some situations in life demand another treatment.

Perfect analysis - thank you! Today I have nothing to add from myself, because you said much more than I could say. And that's what I said before - it's always worth listening to!
But one thing I would like to make very clear - how important what you say at the end is - that sometimes knowledge and willpower are not enough to deal with depression. Depression can be very dangerous. Like you, I didn't have to face her, but a few of my friends did. And unfortunately, two of them lost this confrontation - today they are no longer with us. And others were lucky - they had someone close by who noticed it, found help for them, and convinced them that it was worth using - they still enjoy life. We can't always handle ourselves, often yes, very often, but not always ...

Once again loving the analysis...really interested to see how you feel about the final 2 songs, as it took a while for them to really warm up to me (not in a bad way, they just didn't stand out as much as the rest of the album for me personally). See you in the next one :)

Love your analysis, dear Guylain. I also read this between the lines. But you say it so eloquently. I had to let you know that my daughter calls you the man with the twinkly eyes. I too see what she means by that.
