Mumbai Rain: Mumbai faces widespread disruption as heavy rains and thunderstorms cause severe waterlogging, halting traffic, railway, and flight services. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Mumbai and Thane districts, in effect until Thursday morning. Schools and colleges will remain closed. The city's water reservoirs have reached 99.26% capacity amid the ongoing downpour.
