I was 27 years old. I studied hard in high school to get into one of the most competitive programs in one of the top Universities in my country. I graduated in 4 years and went on to do my PhD in science, which I completed in 5 years. I did all that debt-free, and got a job in a lab once I graduated. Then, my parents gave me $100k and that's how I made my first $100k.
