iBook G3

Here is my iBook G3. I bought this for $20 off ebay and fixed the hard drive in it. It now runs Mac OS X Tiger and is a great computer to use on the go for light work. Here are the Specs:

CPU: PowerPC G3 (750fx) @ 700 MHz with 512KB of on die L2 cache
RAM: 640 MB SDRAM
GRAPHICS: ATI Radeon Mobility M6 with 16 MB of dedicated SGRAM
HD: 20 GB
OPTICAL: Combo DVD-R/CD-RW
BATTERY: 4-5 hours on a full charge depending on usage
OS: Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger

Nice screen! Pretty good iBook for some browsing and old games.

Toothless!!! hahaha that is fantastic! i love these older generation ibooks, theyre small and perfect for on the go purposes. And youtube and hulu running slow on them is mainly a problem with the PPC architecture i've heard, they aren't optimized for the latest/greatest browsers and plugins, especially flash10+, they just don't like it

Man, I need a browser that will work on modern environment for my iBook G4. I bought it for about 40 dollars, came with 2 chargers and 3 Airport Extreme cards. I'm using TenFourFox but that browser is slow as hell.

@iulik17d Of course! Ethernet is 3x as fast than the 802.11b Airport card. However, it is not recommended for heavy web browsing i.e. youtube, flash video, ect.

i have a G4 1.33Ghz 12inch bought it for the family the only thing is that youtube and hulu are dead slow

$20, that is a steal and a half ..these still go for $85+ usually, and i should know.. i just sold a 600MHz 12" G3 iBook for $105 ;)
