Encephalitis is a condition involving inflammation of the brain tissue that can be caused by a variety of factors including bacteria, viruses, and autoimmune conditions. Due to inflammation of the brain, a variety of signs and symptoms can occur, which we will discuss in this lesson.

I am 20 years old suffering from CPPS, epididymitis, arthritis, tendonitis in hand and patella with all suffering daily from 5 years eating lot of medicine to cure didn't cured but now resulted in swelling of brain, not able to live without pain a single second heal me my vital energy who has created all of us, I have strong desire to live many have insulted me for my diseases, I have seen my parents crying, I will sure heal and become a great person 🙏❤️

My bestfriend has encephalitis. She doesn't have much memory loss but her speaking abilities have declined a lot, she can't speak much now. She is also very confused and spaced out most of the time and her movements are also very stiff where she can't move freely. It breaks my heart to see her like this and I hope that someday she'll get back to how she was before. I wish all the best for everybody who's suffering from this disease.

My mum was 72 when she had encephalitis.
Mum complained of having a cold/flue and within hours mum was found on the floor having fits/seizures.
Mum was then admitted into intensive care and was in a coma for just over a week. Mum then became septic and was gravely poorly.
Anyway, mum survived and we then noticed she had started with dementia.
Mum died last May (2020) and was 90 years of age.

My husband was born w encephalitis - he was given up for adoption and was in a Catholic orphanage in Cobble Hill Brooklyn until he was 18 months old. The first family that took him brought him back. He cried all the time. Then he was adopted by German and Irish parents who were wonderful. He grew up to be super smart so the concerns over him having mental retardation were ultimately unwarranted. It makes me sad that his parents gave him up because of encephalitis.

My mother died due to swollen brain condition and the cause of death was undiagnosed. After watching this I feel this could be the reason. Does this causes tremors? My mother had neck tremors. Pls do reply if this is a symptom of this disease

I had covid a little over a month ago. I had over a 102 degree fever. I was getting better until I woke up one day and my short term memory was basically non-existent. I couldn't remember who I was either. I went to the hospital and they did all the tests that they do. It ended up that I had encephalitis due to having covid. They symptoms talked about in this video fit me perfectly.

I've always had a strong fixation on encephalitis because I had it as a young child (around 4 or 5 I think) though I wasn't aware until a couple years later since that bit of my memory was completely gone and memory surrounding it was extremely blurry, and since I was still a kid I thought not remembering those years was normal cuz adults would talk about it all the time, not realizing that it's very different when a kid can't remember being a slightly younger kid than an adult not being able to remember being a little kid
