David's Polymoog Restoration (video# 5)

Update on David's polymoog.

I have rebuilt the keyboard assembly, the interface, washed the chassis, rebuilt the lower mother boards, and am now ready to start on the upper circuit boards.

it is amazing, I still have a 280a as well and it really is amazing how different the two polys are, love both of them.

Yes it is, lots of hours but well worth it.

Yes, exactly as raymangold22 said, It is 100% analog with the exception of the control logic boards which you can see in video 3 of David's restoration, they are made up of basic binary logic signals that actually switch transistors on and to supply control signals to programmed resistor networks. very interesting beast.

The base sound (violins, Strings, Chords, Brass etc) is sample or only a Ton Generator ?... In the ROM of Moog...
