Same. I think Americans think an English muffin is what comes with a McDonald’s sausage and egg McMuffin. Like a breakfast muffin not a cake type muffin most certainly nothing like a crumpet, Chuck a bunch of butter on a crumpet after popping in the toaster & yummy. Taste totally different and texture is nothing like but whatever very cute name.
