I’m a SAHM, and my hubby works on oil rigs. I could never say my “job” as a mom was harder or more difficult than my hubby’s. FYI: it’s not a job being a mom, it’s a responsibility. It’s something we chose to do in our marriage.

Hmm. I've done both. 10 years of printing, 13 years in sanitation as a worker/driver lifting 20 tons a week in freezing cold snow or 100 degree summer days. Now I'm a stay at home Dad. They're both difficult in their own way. Physical labor just became life. I loved testing my own abilities. But caring for 2 babies all day every day is extremely stressful and exhausting. They're both rough!

Facts! It ain’t hard to be a mom! Been a father and a mom for my daughter since her mom left and isnt in the picture. Still working 12 -14 hours a day listening to work drama is 10 times worse than playing with my kid at home .

yeah, as a mordern dad, which is basically a mom with a D, I can say being at home with my kids is the greatest time EVER. we're just playing and chilling, talking and having fun, doin art and diy stuff or just go outside and play in nature. It's like a permanent vacation. The work around the house is so automated nowadays that it's almost nothing and that little bit of folding clothes or cleaning takes less than an hour a day. And then occasionaly when there's summer or scout camp, they're away for a week and they love it! And I get to have a vacation for myself. If my wife was paid enough, I'd be full time stay at home dad.
