I Had NO SYMPTOMS When I Was Diagnosed With STAGE 4 Stomach Cancer!

Diagnosed after attempting to donate a kidney, Jeff, a molecular biologist, faced a challenging battle with a rare and aggressive form of stomach cancer. His cancer, difficult to detect due to a previous gastric bypass, spread silently and avoided detection through routine scans. However, when the true nature of his cancer was revealed, Jeff's treatment shifted to chemotherapy and radiation, aiming to manage rather than cure the disease.

In this video, Jeff describes how he had no symptoms leading up to his stomach cancer diagnosis.

What a selfless thing to do, to want to donate a kidney. It’s so good that preparing for it led to helping you in this way!

I'm so grateful that your selflessness led to an early diagnosis. I hope you are well and enjoying every moment of your life.
I've been on dialysis 10 years now, and I don't have a donor as yet.
Maybe one day I will find a loving human being like you 😊. I remain hopeful.

How was stomach cancer missed in your endoscopy? This is interesting to understand

It’s not surprising the endoscopy didn’t find his tumor. Cameras only visualize what is on the surface of the stomach lining. The tumor could have been beneath the surface in which case there’s no visible growth to see. The CT looks through, under and behind the visible surface of the stomach lining. Fortunately he was looking to donate a kidney which resulted in the CT being given.

Mr. Roger’s passed from stomach cancer. By the time he had symptoms, his cancer was advanced. He lived only 3 months after diagnosis.
