I'm a Makita guy, but I've adopted PACKOUT for mobile storage. It's sturdy, lots of spacious boxes, comforting latches and everything snaps together like a professional tool box should. Nothing FLIMSY and wiggly.

Their conversation meanders around like a couple of distracted cats pawing a ball of yarn. Yet I listened for 21 minutes. 😂

If you can buy snap on 1/2" and 3/8" metric and standard for 300 bucks I need to know where

If you want it to be American made, it would cost even more. Don’t forget that part of the cost of the tool goes to the employees at the store, distributors etc.

A big reason to go with pack out is simply how tall the dolly handle is. The dewalt, new husky build out etc have short dolly handles. I’m 6’3 and need it higher

having a 3D printer takes the modular storage stuff to a whole other level, and particularly packout.

I can GUARANTEE you can’t buy “NEW” Snap-on, or Matco sockets for the price of Milwaukee sockets, unless there’re stolen!!! The Snap-on truck comes to my job every week, and just a 3/8” short metric socket set is over $200, and a standard 3/8” quick release ratchet is over $120, $140 if you want the soft grip handle.(I’ve priced them out) I Don’t know where you’re buying Snap- on socket sets for less than Milwaukee, but please enlighten all of us on where to buy them!!!

I recently bought the 22" rolling packout and I am absolutely loving it. I am admittedly a diehard Milwaukee guy though. Nothing against the other big names, I just stick to what I know works and lasts when it comes to spending my hard earned money.
As far as their hand tools go, I like Milwaukee's vice grips, they seem to bite harder than most I've tried, but the whole torque lock thing always felt a little gimmicky. I've never come across a single situation where I had to run a screwdriver through that loop to get more bite. Their demo screwdriver set is pretty awesome too. I abuse the living hell out of them, flat head mostly (who needs a demo phillips?) and put them away wet more often than I'd like to admit and they're still like new. Their tin snips (aviation snips for you sticklers) are pretty good in my experience too, but all my pliers, cutters, lineman's, etc are Knipex. Cannot beat the Knipex Cobra's! Erwin came close but failed imo. I've had the teeth wear almost flat on all of mine, and had the top jaw snap off on another two 8 inch pairs. Oh yeah and the packout organizers are awesome for all my pex fittings, rings, mickey's, screws yadda yadda as well. Like I said, diehard Milwaukee guy haha.

I have the big Milwaukee socket set. It’s actually very nice. The sockets dont roll. You can put a wrench on them if you need to. The ratchets are good as well. While I am not a huge fan of the perfectly smooth handles, the actual mechanism is wonderful. Very high tooth count on the gears. Great in tight spaces. The packout for them is great. The trays pop out so you can take the metrics or standards out and set them somewhere convenient while your working. I’m glad I got them. Granted they are pricey.

Former tech tip: color code your tool boxes (with spray paint) and don’t label them. It makes them easier to identify for you, and less desirable for thieves. As long as you know where to look, nothing else matters.

You get what you pay for. That Milwaukee packout system is unbelievably durable and quality. Look at DeWalt they're already on their second try and it's still nowhere near as good as pack out. I got the pack-out set with the bits and it was only 49.99 I'm not sure where you're seeing it for 100.

Packout is so fun ! I bought the smaller ones and put my harborfreight hand tools with D.I.Y harborfreight floor mats to custom fit in my packs outs

They don’t go on sale up here in Canada and are $30-$50 more per piece. I love it though and nothing beats it.

This reminds me of a friend who hated his step mother. She was the nicest person who supported him, actual mother was an abusive alcoholic. No matter how supportive and loving she was he would still pick her to pieces to avoid accepting her. She never could replace his mother and she didn’t want too, she knew her place and my friend just understand that. You guys have $1k of Packout....stop being angry stepsons.

Almost every tool company has a good portion of their products made over seas. Dewalt, Stanley, and Black&Decker are owned by the same company. That Apple laptop you are using is made in Asia. Same goes for your camera.
