jim overhauled a mamiya 645 for me. he found it needed a circuit board replaced also. he did an excellent job. he has my mamiya rb67 now for service. it has been a good experience sending my gear to him. highly recommended.

Getting a camera repaired is worth the effort.. to a music enthusiast, getting a disk cutter repaired, things people like, specialty items rather..less unique, but common items..

Jim does excellent work! I recently had him overhaul my working, but dried out Nikon 'F'. Excellent result, it is buttery smooth and a joy to use. Very good communication and turnaround time, too. I will use Jim again for sure! I have a couple of old Nikkor lenses that could use a tuneup!

I dont have many old camera fails.
The ones that seem to fail are the more electronic ones instead of the fully mechanical bodies.
I dont expect the current cameras to be still working decades from now...🦘
