Honestly, if you’re under 25 and still don’t have things altogether yet, don’t sweat it. You have your entire life to get right fr.

I think the point the guy is making is that at 22 you're still young inexperienced and have you're whole life ahead of you so you shouldn't be putting expectations on them and he's right.

The fact that he can say that and so many agree with him, show's how insanely privileged we all are. For 99% of history, 22 year olds have not been children. They had children of their own.

22 is a kid if you’ve got 0 zero no responsibilities. There are 14-15 year old adults with the world on their shoulders. If you’re 22 and can still be a kid congratulations to both you and your family for that.

My father once told me " your still a kid till you done your first set of taxes by yourself. " at age 10 mother died cuz of cancer. At age 15 father died cuz of broken heart syndrome. After I graduated highschool at age 18 i started to do my first set of taxes around that time and still till this day I remember my father words about the taxes and being a adult.

I'm 22 and I am so worried about failing in life. This gave me a bit of peace. Cause, yes, I still have so much in front of me and I've got so much time to gain experience that I still don't have.

Just turned 22 couple weeks ago . Couple weeks before my birthday my mom passed away. I’m her oldest and now it's just me a 15 and 8 y/old and feel i have the whole weight of the world on my shoulders now trying to provide for us . I just want to travel and see the wonders of this earth . I’ve never left this country but I know I will one day. Meet new people, be creative and live but I know that i am going to be okay . Just gotta keep pushing along in life

I'm 19. I'm an independent contractor. I was homeless at 17 and had to grow up really fast. I turn 20 tomorrow actually, and I will still be a kid. Im just a kid man. I'm doing my best but I'm making mistakes and I still call my mom on a bad day and cry to her. I just want to play videogames and sleep all day. My expectations from the adults around me are so high, that my boss reminds me that I'm still just a kid, and I'm doing alright for a kid

Hey I’m 29 and my wife and I are just getting really settled in to our careers and things have fallen into place over the past two years. Pro Tip: You won’t feel like a “real adult” for a long time. That’s normal.

As a human development and family specialist- 18-25 is considered an "emerging adult" and is a new category in human development characterized by adding adult responsibilities and privileges to a person's socioeconomic work load. It's the stage where you're still figuring things out and learning about the "real world".

Meanwhile, 50 year old boomers: "you should have a house of your own, a family, and a career at 18. Get out my house you're an adult. Also, happy 18th birthday."
