For those of you worried about the hair not holding a curl, be aware that if the hair is good quality as in silky, when you first buy it, it may not hold a curl. Sometimes it takes a couple washes before the hair can be styled the way you want. I've experienced this issue in the past and it was always my older weaves or the ones I washed more that held a curl better than the newer ones. Hope that helps in regards to that issue.

Hair that hasn't been cut is flat. When u layered the hair, you took weight from it which keeps the curls soft and light. Long curls fall quick because of the weight
